Last week I was invited to the launch of UberEATS in Durban at the Botanic Gardens.
The who’s who of social media influencers, food bloggers, restaurant owners and media were there.
A team from Uber gave us an introduction into just what UberEATS is all about.
In case you don’t know what UberEATS is. Well it’s an app which you can download from your App Store whether you are an Android Fan or an iPhone Fan.
Look for the fork icon in your App store.
For those of you who don’t have a smart phone or tablet you can also find them online.
With the app you can get your favourite food delivered to you fast and fresh.
They have partnered with some wonderful establishments already, here are just some of them:
- Afro’s Chicken Shop
- Simply Asia
- Bombay Blu
As one of the Uber team mentioned you could order your meal and then order your Uber so that when you get back home from a hard day of work your meal is waiting for you.
- Their average delivery time is 35 minutes.
- R20 flat delivery fee
- 10am to 10pm, 7 days a week.
The good folk at UberEATS have also given you a wonderful special for your first 3 orders.
Enter the code: HELLODURBS and they will give you free delivery off your first 3 UberEATS orders.
