Royal Baking Powder launches South Africa’s 1st Virtual Kitchen

This Spring, Royal Baking Powder is mixing up an exciting batch of comedy, technology and family to show consumers the fun side of baking at South Africa’s very first virtual reality kitchen.

Prepped and ready to rise in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg, the Royal Baking Powder Virtual Kitchen offers South Africans a virtual baking experience, while also enticing their senses with freshly baked goods.

First up is Gateway Mall in Durban from 23 to 25 September 2016, after which the Virtual Kitchen will pop up in Cape Town at Canal Walk from 30 September to 2 October, followed by the final virtual bake-off in Johannesburg at the DSTV Delicious Festival from 8 to 9 October 2016.

Adding even more flavour will be Comedian and Celebrity MasterChef winner, Chris Forrest who will be entertaining audiences with fun baking demonstrations, while also sharing his tips on how to create perfect Royal Sunday Recipes with Royal Baking Powder. Catch Chris at the Royal Baking Powder Virtual Kitchen every Saturday from 12:30-13:30. Consumers are encouraged to bring their whole family or group of friends to enjoy this unique baking experience, and stand in line to WIN some great prizes.

South Africans who are unable to visit the Virtual Kitchen can rise to the occasion on the newly launched Royal Baking Powder Facebook page for more chances to win.
